Richard Blumenthal – Matthew Blumenthal
Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut has seen his son, Matt, follow in his footsteps. Born on January 30, 1986, he has carved his path in public service. After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in History and Literature, he earned his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.
He then served as an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, leading a rifle platoon in Marjah, Afghanistan, during Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2018, Matt was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 147th district, representing parts of Stamford and Darien. Beyond politics, he is a trial attorney at Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder.
