These Political Offspring Are Either Power-Hungry or Pretending They Have Regular Jobs

Debbie Stabenow – Todd Stabenow

Debbie Stabenow made history as the first female U.S. Senator from Michigan. However, her life is also defined by her role as a mother, particularly to her son, Todd Stabenow, who entered the family in the 1970s, around the time she was making her mark as a county commissioner.

Todd, who shares his mother’s approachable demeanor and warm smile, has mainly stayed out of the limelight. Despite not being famous in the conventional sense, he has often been a part of his mother’s public life, accompanying her at numerous campaign events and during significant political milestones. In 2017, Todd brought a new joy into Debbie’s life by making her a grandmother.
