John Cornyn – Haley Cornyn
Outside public service, Senator John Cornyn of Texas also found success in love. In 1977, at the age of 25, he met Sandy Hansen on a blind date; they married in 1979 and have two daughters, Danley and Haley.
Haley Cornyn, one of the two, pursued higher education at Colorado College, focusing on writing and Spanish. She further enriched her studies at Universidad Católica de Valparaíso in Chile. From 2010 to 2014, she worked as a healthcare lobbyist for industry giants advocating for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. In 2024, she took on the role of Deputy Press Secretary for Senator Cornyn.
