The name Sanders is synonymous with fiery speeches and progressive politics, but it’s not just Bernie who’s carried the banner. In 1969, before the longtime senator became a household name, he welcomed Levi into the world. Growing up alongside his father’s rising political career, he developed his passion for public service, though his path took a different turn.
While they share the same wild hair and no-nonsense demeanor, their approaches to politics diverged. The younger Sanders worked as a legal analyst and, in 2018, took a shot at running for Congress in New Hampshire. Though not a political heavyweight like his father, he remains engaged in policy discussions.
