Kevin James is a 55-year-old American actor who is best known for his roles as Doug Heffernan on The King of Queens and Kevin Gable on Kevin Can Wait. He has also shown off his acting skills in various films, among which are Grown Ups, Zookeeper, and the Hotel Transylvania film series (voice).
In addition to his temporary acting parts, James bears the lifelong role of a father to his four children. He shares them with his wife of 16 years, Steffiana de la Cruz, who is also an actress. The couple met on a blind date in 2001 and has been together ever since.
